About Cedar and Rose

Cedar and Rose is not a typical design firm where design is the only focus.

I’m Rhonda Michelle, the creative force behind Cedar and Rose. My focus is on helping businesses use their branding and web presence to bring in more business with the right type of clients. My expertise ranges from owning and managing a financial advisory firm to translating marketing ideas into profitable concepts. I’ve also spent 9 years in the event industry in a design and marketing capacity and I’ve managed both large {adobe.com, mattel.com, bea.com} and small websites. The approach I take stems from both this experience as well as my undergrad in Business Finance and masters in Online Education. In short, my view of business is holistic in that I understand and appreciate the various inter-related parts of a business while directing my attention to design and marketing.

I designed my first business website in 1997 and recently found my first website design course notes that encouraged me to upgrade to Win 95 if I was still running Win 3.1 {because Win 3.1 had bad uncorrected gamma, you see.} Fast forward to a few Macs later and I’m happy to say that I still am enlivened by the genius behind the web. I have a passion for learning and passing that knowledge and wisdom on to others; thankfully, the intersection of technology, business, design and marketing provides several opportunities for that.
